Research Interests for Patients
My primary research focus is on the development of the artificial pancreas for patients with type 1 diabetes. I am involved in many clinical research studies with the goal of advancing artificial pancreas technology. I am also engaged in clinical trials of new therapeutic agents as well as research describing the effects of a clinical telemedicine program on diabetes control for youth with type 1 diabetes. My hope is that the research I am involved with will greatly improve the tools available to optimize control and reduce the burden of diabetes for patients locally and beyond.
