Specialty Care at your Primary Care Provider's Fingertips

If you and your CU Medicine primary care provider (PCP) are in need of specialty input, your PCP can place an Electronic Consult (eConsult) to a specialist. With an eConsult, your PCP shares the specific concerns and questions you have about your health, and transmits this information electronically to a CU Medicine specialist. The specialist will then help advise and consult on your care with your PCP, saving you time and money. On occasion, if it is determined that seeing a specialist in-person is a more appropriate level of care, the eConsult can be converted to a referral to speed your care.

For medication refills, you can utilize My Health Connection (adult health) or My Chart (pediatrics) to request a refill from your provider's clinic. You can also call your pharmacy for assistance.
