Clinical Interest for Patients

My clinical interests include esophageal diseases, Transnasal Endoscopy/ Esophagoscopy (TNE), Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), eosinophilic gastritis, eosinophilic gastroenteritis, eosinophilic enteritis, eosinophilic colitis, general gastrointestinal diseases. I perform unsedated transnasal endoscopy/ esophagoscopy (TNE) which is where we are able to do endoscopy without general anesthesia in children. The Gastrointestinal Eosinophilic Disease Program (GEDP) provides individualized multi-disciplinary care for patients and families with eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases.


Care Philosophy

I hope to improve the lives of children with gastrointestinal diseases, with a particular interest in esophageal diseases, eosinophilic esophagitis and eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases, transnasal endoscopy/ esophagoscopy (TNE) through patient-oriented, multi-disciplinary care and research.
