Care Philosophy

I take into account the entire child in developing a plan for patient with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I work with Dieticians, Psychologists and Social Workers to develop a therapeutic plan. Clinical Interests for Referring Providers

My many clinical interests include novel therapies for Inflammatory Bowel Disease, diagnosis and treatment of GI manifestations of Immunodeficiencies, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Celiac Disease, Pediatric therapeutic endoscopy and General Pediatric Gastroenterology

Research Interest for Referring Providers

My research interest include 1) the analysis of the mucosal immune system and it's role in inflammatory bowel disease, 2) Epigenetic regulation such as methylation, and acetylation and it's role in the development of IBD as well as it's role in the control of the mucosal immune system. I use these interests in order to develop novel targets in the lab for the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as IBD.
