Provider Expertise
Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical focus is in the management of complex genitourinary malignancies, including bladder, upper tract urothelial cancer, kidney, prostate, testicular and penile cancers. I specialize in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, urinary reconstruction, and multidisciplinary management of advanced and high-risk disease. I also treat and manage benign urologic diseases such as BPH and kidney stones.
Care Philosophy
I believe that the best cancer care begins with compassion. My approach is to take the time to understand each patient’s story, values, and goals, so that together we can make informed decisions that align with what matters most to them. I strive to provide compassionate, evidence-based care using the most advanced surgical and systemic treatments available, while ensuring that each patient feels supported and empowered throughout their journey. Beyond treatment, I view every encounter as an opportunity to educate, guide, and walk alongside my patients and their families as partners in care.

Research & Grants
Research Interests for Patients
My research centers on advancing treatment options, improving outcomes and quality of life for patients with urologic cancers through clinical, translational, and global health initiatives. I focus on studying the microbiome and biomarkers for bladder cancer. We utilize molecular and clinical predictors to improve kidney and bladder cancer outcomes, and also incorporate novel uses of AI for automated data extraction to advance research efficiency. I am also deeply passionate in global oncology collaborations to expand access to cancer care and surgical training in resource-limited settings, including ongoing partnerships in Sub-Saharan Africa and other countries to develop sustainable urologic oncology education programs and cancer care initiatives.
