Care Philosophy
One of my greatest values as a physician is respecting patient's preferences for care. In order to make informed decisions, patients and their families need to have access to timely information surrounding their condition. I pride myself on being a great listener and being able to have thorough exchanges with patients and their loved ones. It is of great importance to me that the care of my patients is both coordinated and integrated with other care teams in the hospital.

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
I am an acute care surgeon, and I meet most of my patients when they come to the hospital through the emergency department with urgent surgical conditions. My clinical interests include surgical stabilization of rib fractures (SSRF), also known as rib plating, for patients with acute chest wall injuries. I also see patients in the outpatient setting who have delayed or persistent pain, deformity, instability, or functional limitations following rib fractures and may benefit from further evaluation or delayed SSRF. In addition to emergency surgery, I offer selected elective robotic general surgery procedures, including cholecystectomy, ventral and inguinal hernia repair, interval appendectomy, and colectomy for benign conditions such as diverticulitis.
