Clinical Interest for Patients
I am interested in the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks, including dural defects and CSF-venous fistulae. Our team specializes in complex dynamic myelography and MRI imaging protocols to localize occult leaks, and treat them using epidural blood patching and fibrin glue.

Research Interest for Referring Providers
My research interests include the imaging of cerebrovascular disease including MRI assessment of cerebral vasoreactivity (CVR) in HIV and Moya Moya vasculopathy. During my NIH T32 fellowship, I led the design of a robust MRI-CVR protocol for assessing occult cerebrovascular disease in women with HIV. During my fellowship year, I worked with colleagues in neurosurgery to implement this protocol for clinical use for patients with Moya Moya, in the assessment for potential bypass surgery. This included the use of 4D flow phase contrast imaging to simultaneously interrogate the intracranial and extracranial arterial vasculature.
