Care Philosophy
I approach clinical work as a scientist-practitioner, guided by an evidence-based practice framework that integrates the best available research, clinical expertise, and the unique characteristics and preferences of each patient. Across various settings, I strive to establish strong therapeutic alliances and incorporate shared decision-making throughout the treatment process. Central to my clinical philosophy is a deep commitment to cultural humility and equity. I believe that effective care must acknowledge and adapt to the lived experiences, identities, and systemic contexts that shape each patient’s life. I continuously seek to understand how culture, oppression, and marginalization intersect with mental health and treatment engagement, and I strive to tailor care that is accessible, respectful, and responsive.
