Clinical Interest for Patients
My main clinical interest is the assessment and treatment of pediatric eating disorders.
Care Philosophy
My care philosophy for adolescents struggling with eating disorders is firmly rooted in the principles of Family-Based Treatment (FBT), which views the family as the most crucial resource for recovery. I believe in empowering parents and equipping them with the practical skills to help their child interrupt eating disorder behaviors and achieve full weight restoration and normalization of eating. This approach is intensely pragmatic and agnostic about the cause of the disorder, focusing instead on rapid behavioral change. My role is that of a coach and collaborator, working alongside the family. Ultimately, my goal is to facilitate the adolescent's full physical and psychological recovery while strengthening the underlying family bonds.
