USE OF ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY BIOMARKERS TO PREDICT IMPAIRED MILRINONE PHARMACOKINETICS IN CHILDREN (2013)
Use of cAMP for evaluation of milrinone efficacy in children after cardiac surgery (2015)
Immunoparalysis after acute kidney injury (2017)
Research Interests for Patients
My research interests are primarily focused on investigating kidney injury in children after heart surgery. I am currently investigating use of kidney injury biomarkers to predict drug clearance after heart surgery. The specific drug I am currently studying is milrinone, which has been shown to improve heart function after heart surgery, but may accumulate when kidney injury is present

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
My interests include care of critically ill children with congenital or acquired heart disease
Research Interest for Referring Providers
My research interests are primarily focused on investigating acute kidney injury in children after cardiac surgery with a focus on pharmacokinetics, and using kidney injury biomarkers to predict drug clearance. Specifically, I am evaluating if AKI biomarkers can predict impaired milrinone clearance after cardiac surgery.
