Research Interests for Patients
My clinical work, research and advocacy all center around Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy. I care for neonates after HIE and throughout their development. In the lab, I model HIE in mice and study sex differences in the brain immune response to this injury. I am also leading the building of a national HIE Registry.
