Research Interest for Referring Providers
My research interests are primarily focused on developing an evidence-based low cost sustainable intervention for low income minority children who are obese or overweight. As well as looking at health disparities in referral patterns to tertiary care weight management programs and lastly I'm focused on how adverse child events impacts a families ability to improve or are a barrier in a tertiary care weight management program and whether addressing these social determinants might lead to better outcomes for these patients.
