I am a physician triple-boarded in Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology, and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. I currently serve as a cardiologist and intensivist in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Children’s Hospital Colorado and as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. My clinical and academic interests center on the care of patients with single ventricle heart disease, and I am an active member of the Single Ventricle Care Team. My research focuses on this population as well, with additional interests in enteral nutrition in children with congenital heart disease and kidney injury following cardiac surgery. I am also deeply engaged in medical education and currently serve as Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Colorado.
