I am a general pediatrician specializing in the care of children with medical complexity (CMC) and disabilities including neurogenetic conditions and their families, focusing on wellness and preventive care in the medical home. I am the Medial Director of KidStreet, a medical therapeutic program for young children with chronic medical conditions, and a primary care and consulting pediatrician in Special Care Clinic complex care program at Children's Hospital Colorado. I am the co-director of the SYNGAP1 and SCN2a/8a multidisciplinary clinic and provide care in many neurogenetic multidisciplinary programs at CHCO.

I am health services researcher focusing on improving wellness for children with medical complexity (CMC) delivered through the medical home using implementation science methods. My research focus includes 1. preventive care for CMC (oral health, mental and behavioral health, nutrition/obesity prevention, home care), 2. medical home model, and 3. improving care for neurogenetic conditions. I completed the ACCORDS SCORE fellowship and am a member of ACCORDS. I also have a passion for evidence-based care dissemination; I am the co-director of the Complex Care Journal Club Podcast, a podcast focusing on practical implications of recent publications in the field of complex care: https://www.openpediatrics.org/complexcarejournalclubpodcast
