Clinical Interest for Patients

My clinical interest is in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. More specifically I am interested in stem cell transplantation for non-malignant conditions affecting the blood and immune systems, and late effects of stem cell transplantation.

I have learned to cross all bridges and get to know my patients better, at the end of the day before being a physician I am a father, son, brother, husband and I have learned never to forget this when I am taking care of our patients and their families. My goal for our patients is to help them not only achieve cure from their underlying diseases but also to provide them with the best quality of life possible.

Outside of work I love hiking and enjoying outdoor time with my family, playing soccer, basketball and tennis. I enjoy reading classic literature, history and philosophy, and I also enjoy listening to music.


Volunteer Activities

I have always enjoyed teaching, mentoring and sharing knowledge with others, I have offered lectures and career mentoring sessions to international medical students and trainees from multiple places in the world. My wife and I have personally been involved in philanthropic work related to children and women's rights and welfare.
