Clinical Interest for Patients
My clinical practice is focused on evaluating and treating children, adolescents, and young adults with hip pain due to developmental dysplasia, impingement, deformities, and other pathologies.
Care Philosophy
Pediatric orthopedic treatment has tremendous power to relieve pain, improve function, and keep kids and young adults doing the activities they love as long as possible. However, recovering from an injury or surgery isn't always easy. The healing process is a journey that patients, parents, and doctors should navigate together as a team. Treatment decisions often involve challenging choices with no single right answer, especially when it comes to complex hip problems. I believe that we achieve the best outcomes and provide the best experience for children and young adults when we make those decisions together. As your doctor, I am not just here to do surgery and execute the treatment plan, but also to ensure you fully understand your (or your child's) condition, you are able to weigh the treatment options, and you have enough information to choose the care plan that best suits your goals.
