Clinical Interest for Patients
I have always been passionate about promoting reproductive health for all women. As director of the Special Contraception Clinic, I concentrate on safe and highly effective birth control for women with a variety of medical disorders, from lupus, to diabetes, to cystic fibrosis. We also excel at providing contraception for patients with other complex needs, such as adolescents or those with developmental disability. I provide in-office awake sterilization procedures, traditional sterilization in the OR, and management of miscarriage or abnormal pregnancy.
Care Philosophy
I believe that the health care that works for the patient is the one that is consistent with her beliefs, values, and needs, and recognize that reproductive health needs of women evolve over time.
