Clinical Interest for Patients
Working with mothers who are experiencing high-risk pregnancies. I am interested in the developing field of fetal surgeries and working closely with the MFMs and pediatric specialists to help ensure the best outcomes.
Care Philosophy
I believe in working with patients to help them feel as comfortable as they can about complicated and unfamiliar situations. Having personally experienced a high-risk pregnancy with a preterm delivery, I use my experience to help empathize with my patients. I really enjoy collaborating closely with maternal–fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams. I believe one of my strengths is that I am an advocate for clear communication, teamwork, and respect for the values of each patient.

Personal Interests
When I am not at work, I am learning to be a parent of twin teenage boys and am a full-time soccer mom. As a family, we love to spend time in the mountains rafting on the river, fly-fishing, paddleboarding, and camping. We enjoy skiing as a family, although I am now the last down the hill. My husband, who is a Gastroenterologist at UCHealth, and I enjoy moments of quiet, spending time with our dogs, hiking, and hope to travel more in the future.

Research Interests for Patients
My research interests now focus more on quality control issues on Labor and Delivery as I was formerly the Chair of the OB-GYN Peer Review at Saint Joseph Hospital. Previously, I did research looking at comprehensive Family Planning at Faith-based Institutions and helped Saint Joseph Hospital OB-GYN Residency become a Ryan Program. I was also on the steering Committee for the SOAR Project through the CPCQC with the goal to reduce primary c-section nulliparous, term, singleton pregnancies.
