Interests & Activities
Personal Interests
Outside of work, I value spending time with family and friends, staying active, and finding opportunities to recharge through travel and time outdoors. I enjoy experiences that allow me to connect with others and maintain balance, which helps me bring energy and perspective to both my clinical work and research.
Volunteer Activities
I am deeply committed to advancing care, education, and advocacy for individuals affected by autoimmune neurologic diseases. My volunteer work focuses on bridging gaps between patients, clinicians, and research communities to improve awareness, access to care, and treatment outcomes. I serve in volunteer leadership roles with national patient advocacy organizations, including the Autoimmune Encephalitis Alliance (AEA) and the Stiff Person Syndrome Research Foundation (SPSRF), where I contribute to strategic planning, educational initiatives, and research advocacy efforts. Through these roles, I collaborate with patients, families, clinicians, and scientists to support patient resources, promote early recognition and diagnosis, and help guide research priorities.
