Provider Expertise

Clinical Interest for Patients

I am a cardiologist who specializes in advanced heart imaging, including echocardiograms, nuclear scans, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI, and in heart care for people during and after cancer treatment. I also care for patients with other complex heart conditions, and I see patients in English, Polish, and Spanish.

Care Philosophy

My goal is to give you a clear picture of your heart, listen to what matters to you, and build a plan together that makes sense. I use advanced heart imaging to find problems early, and I speak Polish and Spanish, so we can talk without an interpreter.

Interests & Activities

Personal Interests

Outside the hospital, you'll usually find me outdoors hiking, jogging, or inline skating. I also play the piano, always have a book going, and love exploring new places, especially across Colorado.

Volunteer Activities

I have volunteered as a physician at a rural health center in Kiabakari, Tanzania, where I led a Polish Aid funded project delivering medical care and training local staff, and at the Hassan Sham refugee camp near Mosul, Iraq, where I cared for displaced families in a United Nations field unit. Earlier, I taught English to children in San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala.

Research & Grants

Research Interests for Patients

My research focuses on multimodality cardiac imaging in cardio-oncology and structural heart disease, including cardiac MRI in immune checkpoint inhibitor myocarditis. I also study artificial intelligence and machine learning for cardiovascular imaging and clinical decision support, and I work on defining imaging endpoints for cardio-oncology clinical trials.
