Research & Grants

Research Interests for Patients

My research interests are primarily focused on investigating the interaction of cardiovascular disease and cancer, focusing on shared mechanisms and crosstalk that worsens both diseases. Discovery of these interactions and mechanisms allows for improved disease screening of high-risk patient populations, the development of new therapies for cancer-mediated cardiovascular disease, and improved care for cancer patients and survivors.
