Care Philosophy
My approach to care centers on building a true partnership with each patient and family, grounded in clear and direct communication, compassion, and respect for individual goals and values. As a medical oncologist specializing in genitourinary cancers, I aim to provide evidence-based, personalized treatment while helping patients navigate complex decisions with confidence. I am deeply committed to advancing the field through clinical trials and translational research, with a focus on innovative therapies and understanding why treatments work for some patients and not others. By integrating cutting-edge science with attentive, whole-person care, I strive to offer patients access to the most promising options today while contributing to better treatments for the future. I am seeing patients with prostate cancer, testicular (germ cell) cancer, adrenal cortical cancer, bladder/urothelial cancer, kidney cancer, and rare genitourinary cancers.

Research Interests for Patients
My research focuses on developing more effective treatments for advanced prostate cancer and other genitourinary malignancies through innovative clinical trials and translational science. I am particularly interested in hormone-based therapies, immunotherapy combinations, and T-cell–directed approaches aimed at overcoming treatment resistance and improving durable responses. My work integrates patient care with laboratory investigation, including analyses of blood and tumor samples to better understand how therapies reshape the tumor immune microenvironment and to identify biomarkers that predict which patients are most likely to benefit. I collaborate closely with multidisciplinary academic teams, cooperative groups, and industry partners to accelerate the development of personalized therapies and to translate promising scientific discoveries into meaningful advances for patients with genitourinary cancers.

Clinical Interests for Referring Providers
My clinical interests include all GU malignancies, in particular germ cell tumors, adrenal cortical carcinoma, and prostate cancer. I serve on the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Guideline Panel for testicular/germ cell tumors.
Research Interest for Referring Providers
My research interests focus on improving outcomes for patients with advanced prostate cancer through the development and study of novel therapeutic strategies. My research program is centered on two complementary areas: (1) clinical trials evaluating innovative treatments, including hormone-based therapies and immunotherapy combinations such as T-cell–directed approaches, particularly for patients with treatment-resistant disease, and (2) translational studies that analyze blood and tumor samples to understand mechanisms of response and resistance, identify predictive biomarkers, and optimize patient selection. Through these efforts, I aim to expand effective treatment options, personalize therapy, and provide patients with access to promising investigational approaches, working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, referring providers, and other partners.
