I am also interested in increasing access to gender-affirming surgeries for transgender and gender diverse adults, and provide weight management support for presurgical optimization, when necessary.

Research Interests for Patients

My research interests are focused in novel approaches to weight management in different populations. My primary interest is in developing tailored and patient-centered approaches to weight management in transgender and gender diverse people, particularly as a means of decreasing health disparities and increasing access to gender-affirming surgeries. I am also interested in prevention of cancer recurrence through preventing and reversing weight gain that can accompany cancer diagnosis and treatment.
