Recipe: Avocado Tuna Salad Spread
This heart healthy tuna salad combines protein packed Greek yogurt, creamy avocado and omega 3 rich albacore tuna for a quick, nutritious meal that supports overall wellness.
Ingredients
2 medium avocados, mashed
¼ cup low-fat Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. paprika
Salt to taste
½ tsp. ground black pepper
10 oz. albacore tuna in water, drained
½ cup diced celery, about 2 ribs
Directions
1. Combine mashed avocado and yogurt in a medium bowl and stir well.
2. Add lemon juice, parsley, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl and stir to combine.
3. Add drained tuna and diced celery to the bowl, mix gently until combined.
