Clinical Interest for Patients
My specialty is in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. My particular interest is in teaching girls, teens, and parents about reproductive health. Regardless of what brings the patient to see me, I always integrate education and counseling into the visit and make sure everyone involved understands and feels heard.
Care Philosophy
My passion has been caring for women in all stages of their lives, but I have always particularly enjoyed working with the adolescent and teens in my clinical practice. I believe in order to provide the best care for my patients, they need to feel that I listened and their concerns were met with compassionate care. I strive to create a comfortable space for teens to be open and parents to feel their child is in the most caring hands. I provide a wholistic view of the patient's condition and will often offer an integrative approach.

Personal Interests
I enjoy spending time with my 4 daughters who are all now in high school or college. On the weekends, if I am not at a volleyball or soccer game, I enjoy hiking with my 2 golden retrievers. I love to travel and usually find a new state or country to visit every year.
Volunteer Activities
I have recently found a passion for global health and went on a volunteer medical mission trip to Uganda. I plan to continue this work over in Africa and hope to expand my volunteer work to other countries that are in need.
